LFG DnD 5e - Semi new player EU(GMT+1) tues, wens, thurs

tldr; LFG GMT+1 tues, wens, thurs as a player. DnD 3.5 is fine but 5e pref. I put maybe 40 hours into 3.5 as a player/DM so the basic rules and stuff are there. I have a working mic but no webcam. Hi roll20! I have been browsing around different websites and such to get back into DnD and role playing in general in search of a group. Sadly there wasn't much that fit the times I can dedicate to hobbies and fun due to work. As a result of the previous sentences I decided to make a topic myself hoping that perhaps a party would contact me while I keep looking, a way to increase the chances so to speak. I'm 24 if it's relevant btw. The experience I have in DnD began from watching vods on youtube every single night when in bed, and I still do. I also used to play with some guys here on roll20 like a year ago or so but sadly lost contact with them due to changes in my life so I didn't have time to keep playing on a scheduled basis. Finally my hours at work are more regular now but they're still kind of fucked, at least I know I have tuesdays, wensdays and thursdays off so obviously those are the days I can dedicate to this at any time. As for the rest it's a bit more irregular but if a party is fine with me missing out on 1/3 or perhaps even 1/2 of the sessions, that works for me you know. I think we kind of got off track there for a bit, oh well. The experience I have with dnd comes from VoDs, as I said before, but I've also put 40ish hours into 3.5 mostly as a PC but also some as a DM, turns out I suck at it so I'll keep to PC :D Role playing is fucking fun and the combat in DnD isn't the prime objective ye. The fun part with DnD is getting around situations in a creative manner, I'll give you a couple of examples. Story time So I was playing a bard(healing orriented) in a 2 man party and we were down in the narrow tunnels of a ruined keep where we were searching for clues of tracking down a necromancer. The keep was overtaken by hobgoblins so my fighter partner took the front while I healed, buffed and shot my bow every now and then. There were just more and more of them and eventually I ran out of spells and the brave dwarf ahead of my fell. There I was, a wounded bard stretching onto his life with 4 hobgoblins ahead of me, what can one do to survive that? I still had ONE spell left for that day so it had to be used well. I decided to use telepathic communication on the biggest of the hobgoblins and in orc I impersonated one of the orc and goblin deities(can't remember the name) and basicly ranting the hobgoblins for wounding his champions and that they had to let them go for they were on a crusade for him. After a few rolls the hobgoblins looked at me confused and let me drag my dwarf companion out of the keep and patch him up. Sadly that bard died not long after :D This was with the same 2 guys (2 man party), I was playing a caster druid and my party companion had been accused of trying to murder the count of a town so he was to be transported to the near major city and executed publicly. My druid went into the filthy town to get some information on the matter and via bribes of his beloved gems(he loved gems and hated coins so he never took any gold, only gems :D) he found out that my friend was going to be transported in one weeks time. Good, some time to prep the assault. I went out in the woods memorizing talk to animal spells and eventually I had raised a small army of bears thanks to bribes yet again, turns out bears love meat for a few thousand gold in total. The day of the assault comes and just for RP value I memorize enlarge animal and throw it on the bears. We step out in front of the caravan and what do they see? A dwarf druid with a bunch of giant bears behind him telling them to let the prisoner go, do they? Fuck no. A battle breaks up and after not too long there was not much of a caravan left and I rescued my friend. Sadly that druid died to a skeletal dragon. I guess that wasn't needed information but ye, I find it pretty fun to read other peoples cool stuff they did in dnd so I wrote down two of mine :D But yeh, gmt+1 tues, wens, and thurs work for me. Please post in here for PM me if you have a slot open in a game.
Hi Marten! Our group has an awesome 5E group that we are about to reboot here in a week or so that is looking for new players. Full disclosure, the sessions are $10 a week, most of which go into the professional art assets and quality tools for our DM. If that's a real breaker for you, just thought I'd let you know. That being said, our DM Pat is one of the best I've ever worked with and the guys who run it (John and Steve at C2Gaming) are great and very responsive and professional. The campaigns offer a lot of reactivity, where Pat will build entire portions of the sessions around your particular character's history/backstory, as well as allow for a lot of reactivity in how the campaign plays out, with branching "mission" choices that can am hangs the world in (VERY) huge ways. Your time slots sound like they would match up with our group. If you are at all interested, below is the Receuitment post: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/23794/ashlin-tales-of-the-vanguard

Thanks for the response but I'm not entirely sure a payed adventure is what I'm looking for. However, it does sound pretty amazing but I don't make a lot of money so can't spend that sort of money on a hobby, will have to pass sadly. Good luck to you guys though.
Are you okay for One-shots?

Totally, a great way to get together with some people and possibly finding a party for a longer campaign :) Don't have too much experience with them but I'm willing to give it a go. Perhaps it's irrelevant but I've been working the night shift few days in a row now so I won't go to bed for 3 more hours if you got one with a spot open right now.
