Multiple tokens, same HP

I had a problem running my first game. Fortunately it was invisible to my characters, but I had to fudge it up pretty shockingly. Here's my problem. I have an NPC in the Characters section of the journal - D&D5e NPC sheet - for a Skeleton. I have made multiple Skeleton tokens all over the map. Some of them - not all - seem to have linked hit points. As in, I will use the radial bar to adjust one Skeleton's hit points, and have another Skeleton's hit points also go down by the same amount. I've assigned a different name to each of the Skeletons, if that helps. I must have done something wrong setting them up, but I can't work out what it was. Any ideas?
The HP bar on each token must not be linked to the HP attribute of the character sheet. It should say None in the drop down next to the bar.

Hi Andrew, here is a link to the  wiki page  that details the method for achieving what HoneyBadger has pointed out as the problem. Takes some getting used to but after making many many NPC's I can safely say you soon be an expert (not that I get it right 100% of the time even now!!).
But I want it linked to the HP attribute. I roll hit points for all of my monsters, so each individual one is going to have a different HP total, which I adjust by using the radial bar.
So this can be done in two different ways neither of which are easy or time efficient.  I personally have a different Idea that works which I can share after. So option one to do it your way have numbered skeleton npc's so you can link the hp but you prob need a folder just for that and a different character for each instant. This can all be copied but again its time consuming. Second Option is to not link them but to copy the single monster token and change the health bar and until that npc is dead they will all have different health bars which can be filled out and changed on screen but there wont be a separate character sheet for all of them. What I prefer is to have a no character sheet at all and just use the 3 radial bubbles and I setup one monster in an area player's can't see and I can copy and paste them and again just setup the health for each individually if needed and even when they die I have the original copy on the map out of the way. one bubble is health in the advanced area you just put the total to the right to make it act like health. Another bubble is AC and the last one is + to hit bonus for that monster.  With a monster manual near by you can look everything up pretty fast. I like solving little issues like this so if you wanted to get in a game I can test somethings or work through it a bit I'm sure I can solve this though I'm pretty sure what you want to do isn't 100% possible just something close.
Okay, that makes sense. Still on the learning curve here. :)

Andrew, you should follow the link Ziechael offered, and make sure you make your Skeleton tokens a MOOK as explained there. You'll end up with a Journal entry for a Skeleton, and when you drag that to the map you'll get a MOOK token with HP that's independent of all the other Skeleton MOOK tokens. This is how I set up all the monsters in my 13th Age game with HP in the green bubble and AC in the red bubble. Easy!

Once you have a token with unlinked hit points (call it the average if you will) you can always alter that bar's values to the randomly rolled hit points for individual monsters as desired. It is a little bit of work but not nearly so much as setting up multiple journal entries or building tokens from scratch each time :)

I created an dungeon crawl. Vault of the Dracolich, no problems,  a year later came back and had exactly the same problem last night with a new campaign. So you're not alone, glad that it can be fixed :-)
Yep, following the wiki instructions worked like a charm. Turns out you don't really need to link the bar to the stat at all - just manually type in the numbers and it works out okay.

Very true, people often do the link/unlink thing to pull the current and max values for their 'average' monster but as you rightly say it would probably just be as quick to type the numbers yourself, especially if you are creating multiple tokens of the same creature and assigning random hit point values as you go :) Happy rolling!
what if I want to use a group of "Mooks" with each having a different token?

You can use a rollable table of different tokens and assign them to a character sheet. see the wiki here <a href="https://wiki.roll20.net/Card_Decks_and_Rollable_Tables#Creating_a_Rollable_Table_Token" rel="nofollow">https://wiki.roll20.net/Card_Decks_and_Rollable_Tables#Creating_a_Rollable_Table_Token</a>

Hey that's pretty impressive. I might need a spare 40 minutes to figure it out, but yeah it does look clever !
And if you ever decide to pony up for Pro, you can have a script that automatically rolls HP for you as you pull the token onto the tabletop - and another that randomly numbers them, and another that automatically marks them when they get below 1/2 HP, and when they're dead... Lots of fun!
Hey there, thanks! &nbsp;I'll look more into how to build this into randomizing single MOOK sheets for multiple toons :)

I was wondering if this was posible.
