I've added my players' names in the journal as characters so they can go in and edit the info. However, under the control option, not all of my players are listed. How do I ensure all option are available to all players?
they just select Join, the campaign is a persistent entity. its always ON, the gm and players can join whenever they like. Players can join and chat even if the gm isnt online.
Right, players need to launch the campaign for making their names available for asset permissions, or just to enter in the campaign by entering "the player link for the campaign" (which Roll20 provides to the GM) into their web browser. It's the same.
Does this have to be done in the browser? We play on Google Hangouts, and wait for invites to the game from our GM. So we don't use the paste in browser link. How do the players launch the game in Google Hangouts? Or can they?
All I had to do was choose the "launch in google hangouts" option in the campaign and then choose my players out of my Google+ list. Once we were in the hangout, we all got a drop down box that asked if it could load the roll20 app. Just say yes.
Seemed to work really smoothly for us. Just make sure all your players are in your google+ friends list.
