Hello there! Per the title, this campaign is a homebrew setting with several 'flavor' changes to your standard setting. There are some steampunk elements combined with a world setting that's definitely out of the ordinary. We will be utilizing 2 DMs to improve the flow of the game and are looking for 6 players for the party. I have brought two players over from my last campaign and am very excited to play with them again.  Please read below for a sort of writeup on the general setting.  Or click here to go to the games lfg listing. Please also include skype contact info in your response or in a PM. As noted on the campaign page, audio and video will be required as this campaign is being recorded for non-monetized youtube purposes. Project Ova It's been a thousand years since planet Ova was constructed. Set adrift in space to escape the ravages of a brutal interplanetary war, it has served its purpose well... until now. Something is amiss and no one knows why. The normally peaceful creatures have begun attacking townsfolk. The normally aggressive ones seem to have gone berserk! This has caused general unrest in the cities, while panic reigns supreme in the wilds. Smaller towns and villages that never had need for a standing guard have sent out the call for hardy men and women to come to their aide. You have answered this call and currently work as a part of a team of hired guards for a small but thriving trade hub at the junction of two rivers. Come now, to the aide of your town! Come defend Ova from the ravages of the beasts and choose your path! Will your party help find out the cause behind these attacks? Can you stop this constructed world from spinning into chaos? Or will you collectively decide to simply profit from the madness? This campaign has several possible story arcs and some interesting 'flavour' changes (steampunk elements, a hollow planet, two DM's to keep it all in check, and more) See below for a small writeup on how Ova came to be. Tehra was a bountiful rimworld, peopled by the relatively peaceful races of man. However, peace could only last for so long once their quiet world was discovered by the other beings inhabiting their system. Hungry for the vast riches their planet held, the technologically advanced invaders had all but obliterated their defenses before mankind was able to launch a counterattack. Thanks to a reluctant cooperation by the Great Councils, massive flying machines were devised by the dwarves and gnomes, while human and elven wizards enchanted them with great magics, allowing them not only to fly in the cold depths of space, but also to launch devastating pulses of energy. This seemed to catch the alien forces off guard and Tehra’s vessels won a decisive victory. It was a turning point, but only a temporary one as the enemy’s forces fled to their home planet to shore up their numbers. The Great Councils met once more, realizing their efforts to combat the enemy would eventually prove fruitless. A new plan was devised. A plan that, to some, seemed more foolhardy than fighting a losing battle. All of the races bound together for the first time in eons as a united front to complete ‘Project Ova,’ a gargantuan adamantite sphere one quarter the size of Tehra itself. Inside, they placed everything needed to survive - mountains of stone, nations worth of earth and the very seas were all magically moved inside the sphere and adhered to its inner surface by the rotational forces of the sphere, creating a smaller, hollow version of Tehra. It’s said that five hundred sorcerers gave their lives to light the Worldfire, a magical flame suspended in the center of the orb large enough to heat the inner surface for life to thrive. Mount Grocce was unearthed, as one piece, and melded with the Worldfire to shade one side of the vessel, creating a rise and set of the sun within.  Hundreds of thousands of colonists - some decided by lottery, others by rank - were allowed inside along with as many of Tehra’s flora and fauna as they could acquire. Afterwards, the metal plates that made up the outer surface of the newly constructed planet were sealed off and enchanted by leagues of wizards so no one should ever be allowed in or out. Then miles of rock and dust were transported to cover the surface of Ova, making it appear as if it were simply a lifeless lump of rock, floating in the cold reaches of space - spinning a dying planet’s people toward an unknown fate. Nearly a thousand years has past since the completion of ‘Project Ova.’ You and your people have thrived within the hollow planet, but the tides are shifting. All is not well...
