This is a Dungeons and Dragons 5th edition homebrew campaign of floating island continents in an endless sky, combining the worlds of Eberron setting and Darksun setting, using the Spelljammer setting to travel from island to island. Here's a continental map: http://fav.me/d7dvpdf The team is currently 4th level, so that's where you'll start; either as an athasian character from Dark Sun or a khorvaire character from Eberron.... there's decent player-created 5e material for both campaign settings starting to emerge that we've been using to build themed characters. We're very rules-lite for combat and as long as the player's heart is in
the right place, we're open to tinkering with the rules to get the
right flavor for the characters we want to play. We've got 3 stable players but that 4th seat hasn't locked down yet, so we're seeking a x/Good or x/Neutral, team-oriented player that is comfortable taking lead for the group when needed. If you are aware of the three campaign settings mentioned above-- the
campaign is on the southern edge of The Demon Wastes on Khorvaire... Map: http://fav.me/d7dvslr Here's some of the crap we've gotten into since level 1 til present... -- trying to track down a possessing demon causing murders in town -- making a splash in competitive birdhandling/falconry -- setting up a cook-house to brew spirit-sight potions for a local cult -- running from a warforged bounty hunter -- searching for notes to The Lost Chord -- earning favor with the local sheriff while trying to stay off the radar of the ruling nigh hag, Varias. As for me: I've been DMing for about 28 years since 1st ed. AD&D, I tend to enjoy espionage, investigation, and social / political conflict more than dungeon crawls, but the occasional combat keeps everyone alert and uneasy. We're looking to bring in someone new this weekend. If you have any questions, asking here may be a good idea, but be welcome to PM. Thanks!
