Step 1: Go into your campaign Step 2: At the top right corner click on the 'Art Library' tab. Step 3: Click on the star. Step 4: In the window that popped up select 'Upload' (top right corner of the popup window). Step 5: Choose the file to upload and upload it. Your file is now in the art library and you can drag it from the art library to the map. Hope this helps. - Gauss
thanks so much :3

NP, happy to help. - Gauss
You can also just drag and drop the file directly off your desktop onto the tabletop.
You can also just drag and drop the file directly off your desktop onto the tabletop. Is this a new feature? I've tried to do this several times and its never worked for me.

This has always been the case, Wardonis. Are you making sure that you're uploading only GIFs, JPGs, PNGs and nothing over 5mbs in size at a time? Dragging to the tabletop also only works for singular images. You can only upload batches from your art library.
I didn't know format mattered. All of the stuff i've been uploading lately are bmp. I've been forced to take tiny portions of my large maps and cut them up just so they'd fit in the library upload. 5mbs is really really small though, would it be possible to bump that up to something more reasonable like 50mbs or maybe even 150mbs? 150 barely covers my largest continental map (147mbs). nearly every map I use i'm forced to resize as it is and that creates horrible resolution problems. In my campaigns I use multiple levels of maps, town maps, local maps, regional maps, continental maps, planetary maps and a universal map. I honestly have super massive continental maps that are so detailed if i could use them i wouldn't need regional or local Instead I'd have my 27 continental maps and 532 town/city/dungeon maps and thats it, it'd make things so much easier.
That's in bmp format, yes? Try a jpg with minimal compression. Should save you a TON of space and you can still get very good quality.
Yes, bmp is a very heavy format. JPG should save you a lot of space. 5mb is enough for a 6000x6000 pixels map.
