From: Sarah A. Hi, rpgman2013. I've noticed you've put up a number of posts looking for games. Have you had a chance to take a look at the Looking For Group postings ?
It might be another avenue to search for games that would be to your
liking. Also, if you have some suggestions on how to better match
players with games we'd love it if you would post them in our Suggestions & Ideas forum . From: rpgman2013 Thank you for the suggestion. As for getting players and GMs
together. That is the a trick isn't it =) I have been trying to get a
handle on this as well. The LFG area (not the forum) has games posted,
but a lot of them are weeks and sometimes months from starting. There are
a lot of "dead" games as well. Then there are a bunch of games that are
not added when you use a filter because they have no date as such. I am
thinking a revamp of that area might be a good idea. Meaning how games
are posted. Perhaps a game being removed from "live" play if it has not
been updated in some time. Perhaps a listing of ALL campaigns with the
option that the GM can have the game open or closed. An option to contact
the GM from that posting. Area with ALL games posted. Require a system/mechanic to be listed,
campaign description, start date, last time played, open/closed game,
number of characters in the game, number of alternates, is it streamed
and if so an address, GM contact information. These are just a few
suggestions I would make. From Sarah A. Those seem like very well thought out suggestions. If you get the chance, would you mind starting a thread in the Suggestions & Ideas forum and posting these thoughts there? I'm sure there are other people who would be interested in joining a discussion about this particular topic.
