Just got Out of the Abyss and thought, "What the heck, let's run a game." I've been playing 5E for about a year now so I've got a solid understanding of the rules (for a player at least.) Like the title said, I'm looking for newcomers so here's a bit of background info on Out of the Abyss. The adventure takes place almost entirely in the underdark. The party starts as prisoners captured by the drow and being used for slave labor. In the meantime, an evil Drow arch-mage has accidentally released the power of the demon lords onto the underdark and it's up to you to escape your captors, defeat the demons, and save the citizens of the underdark from the endless torment and insanity caused by this infernal threat. Back on the subject of new players, it'd be nice if the players and the DM learned how to play their respective parts alongside one another. This is how I learned to play and I think it works fantastically. I already have one player who is an experienced DM and will be acting as a consultant of sorts (he's gonna make sure I don't screw up too bad.) Planning on holding weekly sessions for a fairly long term campaign (levels 1-15.) Trying to go for Friday or Saturday nights (preferably Saturdays) from 7:00-10:00 EST. We will be using skype for voice chat. Any other questions anyone may have can just go in the thread and I'll be sure to answer as promptly as I can. Thanks
