I posted this on my blog summarizing the progress of my campaign. http://batintheattic.blogspot.com/2013/06/a-sandbox-campaign-nomar-campaign-part-2.html As well as creating this map showing the travels of the party. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PBZIfoEOoqw/UbUrIJmMw8I/AAAAAAAAIbk/DdbSOueY4XQ/s1600/Nomar_Campaign_2013.jpg What would be useful is that on the campaign's homepage there would be a place that you could put up visual campaign progress tracker. Basically a image that can be updated to show the progress of the party. When you edit it you can use fog of war, draw routes, and/or drop pins with notes. It appears on the campaign homepage and can be marked public or private. If public anybody can look at it, click on a pin and see what happened. This would be a great feature to advertise your game and to keep your player updated. Some people work best with text but many other work better with a visual reference.
