Dynamic Lighting Circles Allow Light From Left

I've set up some big trees that block light for an upcoming encounter, but for some reason whenever I have a character with a light source to the left of that circle it allows the light through. Here is a shot from the GM, and then PC screens: You can see that the blocker above works as expected, but the on to the right isn't. Is this a bug, or am I doing something incorrectly? Thanks, Doug
Did you use an actual circle to draw the dynamic lighting? If so, that is likely your problem as the dynamic lighting engine tends to have trouble parsing circles. Try drawing a roughly circular shape using the polygon tool instead and let me know if that clears up the issue.
That did the trick. Thanks! Doug
I've free-handed circles for pillars/columns, and haven't run into any funky issues..........yet.

Xanthais, I would avoid using the free-hand tool for Dynamic Lighting. It requires a lot of system resources since there are many math points in freehand compared to polygon. Here is a guide I wrote for drawing near perfect circles using the polygon tool: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/149172/atmosphere-with-dynamic-lighting#post-149596 - Gauss
Gauss, Thanks for the info! I'll try that trick next time.
