Moved this to, I think, a better forum for this question. There's an option to include text and pictures via Handouts.
How you go about that bye chance?

I've never played skyrim or any of the elder scrolls so I don't have a reference to work with but are you referring that you want a video story to play in the journal? Maybe like taking a youtube video and getting it to play in the journal? I'm guessing at it till I can find out more of a reference.
Not so much , but somehow get a book to the players that they can flip through read the pages , so bacily i se eit as i ahve to paint or photoshop the pages and the book itself then type into it then save , then upload it one bye one.

That level of interactivity is not yet on roll20. The handouts and sheets are just single image style. You can load a graphic, single page pdf, or cut and paste text into them but you are stating you want them to be bound together and the ability to flip through them, correct? Something like that is not in the ability of roll20 at the moment. A mod or dev will be along to explain it in more detail or correct what I mention if it is wrong.
A, so i can change the words on the page or just the image, i can dealw ith a single image easy enough jsut well kind of need the image and the ability to type on it , which i can outside roll20 .

yeah. you can change the text all day long. to change the image you will have to remove the old image and then drop and drag the new one on the sheet/handout. I cut and pasted a rule book into a journal. It was a lot of work to do it but it can be done. If you do plan on cut and pasting a lot of pdf text then get notepad++ and run the text through it first. That will remove a lot of formating that screws up in the journal.
Hmm ok , in a funny ironic way n the book is actually a journal , setting up some plotlines and soem history of the world for the players.

understand that. It would be nice to have multiple pages in one journal with each page aka tab having it's own image. That would simulate page flipping ok.
