Freeform With Game Master

Does anyone ever do any rules light roleplaying, probably freeform, with a Game Master? I thought it sounded interesting, but wasn't sure if anyone was doing it or not. I prefer text only for gaming. Thanks, Jeremy.
Dungeon World is very much like that, although I have tried to keep games of it going, but so far have not had much success... -Ajax
Most of my games are free form improv style; however, I don't do text games.  Too difficult for a talker like me, I've tried.  Sorry.
Ah, I didn't think it was something that was done around here much, considering what I saw in the searches. Most people seem to be playing d&d or Pathfinder. Kind of sucks considering some of the neat games out there. I've only heard of Dungeon World, but haven't looked into it as a system yet. Is it good? I've been thinking about running my games along these lines too, or possibly a really rules-lite d20 game. Something with skills, ac, hp, and difficulty checks. That would get rid of the hassle of a ton of rules, and allow for simpler gaming. I don't mind learning D&D or pathfinder. It's just time consuming is all. It's been awhile since I've been in a D&D game, and have been writing my own games lately.

Have you ever heard of the Window? That's one of the better rules-lite systems I know of, and it's pretty neat if I do say so myself. Here is the link:  The Window .

Wow, thanks Aeroscathe. Had to bookmark that. Was awesome. Like the system. Low rolls win.. skill are determined in ranking of worst to best, with the best being low dice. Cool :) Learned the game in 10 minutes.
Yup! Sooper easy to learn, and sooper quick for just jumping into a game whenever! Speaking of games, are you still open for fellow gamers?

Where do you play? I shouldn't commit right now. I just got accepted into a game on the 10th of October, and have been working on designing a game. Have lots to do. Would like to know where you play your games though. I checked on here for open games using Window, but didn't find anything.
It's alright if you don't commit, but it is a bit strange that you would put up a post looking for a game and then say you're too busy for the game XD But what do you mean where do I play my games? You say that you prefer to do text based, right? Could you narrow that down a bit more?
Text games can be played on here. I did a search for Window, but there wasn't anything open I could find. The post here wasn't irrelevant until I found the game I got invited to. I made this post, then a couple days later found a game :) Just curious where you guys play Window to :)
Oh haha, it was just a suggestion. I don't know of any window games being played on roll20 currently.

Hey Pat, how does a game that big work? Wouldn't it be cramped in the chat, or do people play by post in the forum?
