Playlist not synchronized

I play with my friends on a campaign online. One of those friends, however, is also a real-life friend who plays with me on a separate screen. We noticed, that, after making a playlist and having it play random music on shuffle, that it did not sync with other players. The playlist, for me, was playing a completely different track in it than my real-life friend. We found this as quirky, so here I am submitting a bug report. EDIT: Looked at this from a technical standpoint as I got on the board. The music started as soon as I got on (On my end) And played until it hit the end of the music before playing another. I'm thinking maybe this isn't a bug, but either an unfinished system or a limitation. EDIT 2: After refreshing multiple times (and having Firefox freeze twice) It seems that on playing the playlist, it prepares a sequence randomly beforehand, before playing it. The only issue is, that sequence starts from the beginning of the first track when a player joins, rather than updating the player to the correct location in the song and sequence.
What you are describing in "EDIT 2" is indeed the behavior. From the original update post: While they are generally "in sync", each person's computer plays the tracks on its own. This means for example if a player joins the game after you have already started playing the Playlist, their computer will start playing it from the beginning, even if you are on Track 3. This isn't typically a problem since usually music is played when everyone is in the game, but it's best to think of the Playlists less as "everyone will play the same track at exactly the same time" and more as "this is a group of tracks that I want to play in general for my players -- the specific track they're on is irrelevant."
