Hello, I'm the GM of a game and I have a player (Bob) that is unable to join our game via hangouts. He has a Mac with OS 10.6.8 and claims to have just installed Chrome (moments before attempting to join our game). I was trying to help him create a character, one-on-one, so no other players involved. We had no problem using the built in Roll20 interface, with voice and video, but he was unable to get it running in hangouts. Since he and I are not in the same city, I'm unable to see his computer... More details: - He and I can chat in Hangouts no problem. - He tried using the drop down "Launch in Google+", and said he was asked if he wanted to 'invite others'. There didn't seem to be a request for permission to link Roll20 and Hangouts. - He didn't see either the Roll20 app in Hangouts, nor an ellipse ' ... ' to add the Roll20 app to hangouts. - We tried restarting hangouts, and then I tried starting the Roll20 app after he was in hangouts. This made no difference. - I have successfully helped another player (Rick) create a character via Roll20 in Hangouts. The other player has a Windows computer. - While I'm pretty savy with Windows PCs, I've not used Macs much since the 90s... (the beige ones...). Is this some basic Mac thing I'm unaware of? - The player with the issue (Bob) has a gmail account, but no Google+ account (that he is aware of). Any suggestions? Perhaps this is something basic that I'm missing. Cheers!
