GIF files not showing properly in library

GIF files are not showing in my library and every time i try to move a gif from assets it shows a broken link and does not export the image. PNG seems to be working fine but to be honest I am trying to save as much space as possible and png's are roughly 2x larger.  Anyone else experiencing this issue?

GIF support is sometimes flaky.  Try JPG format for anything that doesn't need transparency and save PNG for things that do. It never hurts to follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues checklist to see if one of those components is causing the problem, but you're not the first lately to have issues with GIF support and the workaround is to not use GIFs.

Hi ObsidianSaint, At this time, I would recommend following what GenKitty said. Steve did provide a work around in that thread though if you want to try that.
