Dresden Game Interest Check

I am doing an interest check for a group that would use the Dresden system to play a campaign I am titling Sin City set in Las Vegas after the events of Changes. I will be making some modifications to the system, mostly the power scale. You all would be starting at a fresh of 8 while RPing not being city wide badass. I am want to limit the amount of things that directly tie into the novels to leave open to player creation to fill out the world. There will be some communal city creation and somethings I have already decided on to facilitate the game.
Id be intrested, lvoe dresden files.
Also character ideas would be appreciated.
What times are we talking about? I'd love a Dresden Game, but since I live in Europe, time may be a big problem for me.
I am on EST, and would hope to run this either on thursday or sunday.
I have been trying to find someone to play this with. I would definitely be interested. My availability is limited due to work, but I am in if it fits my schedule and you decide to do it.
That's quite inconvenient. Unless you're playing it awfully early by your time, I won't be able to participate. Would youn consider Fridays or Saturday? I can affor to stay up late if I can sleep in the next day.
I too have most Saturdays off. So that would be good for me as well. Aside from that during the day before noon. Or any weekday after 10:30-10:45 PM EST I am available. hit me up on skype if you need to get ahold of me. obi-wan_meets_dolomite
Definitely interested, and my schedule is pretty flexible.
I tried to get into a DF game before the GM vanished. I'd love to get in this one. I'm pretty wide open on Sundays.
I would be interested in giving this a try as well. I'm EST and evenings work best for me. I think I would prefer Thursday over Sunday, but evenings on the weekend would be okay too. How frequent are you thinking of running the game (every week, once a month..) and how long would you expect a session to be?
So, I think Sunday is most likely the day we would play on because Thursday no longer works for me I would expect to play at least twice a month. I would like to play for four to five hours a session. I have class in the morning Monday so I wouldn't want to go terribly late. Next week I am going to start sending out invites and talking to people about the details.
Were you still planning on sending out invites?
I really enjoyed Jim Butchers books and the idea of a Dresden style game would be awesome, unfortunately I have no idea how it plays, nor will I have the time :-(
dunno if its too late to join but i would love to play, i ran a dresden files game for about a year but never got the chance to play it myself.
I've never played the system, but I love the Dresden Files. I'd be interested if it was in my time frame.
Played one campaign of DF I would be interested in another but the problem would be my timezone(GMT+2)
Sorry i disappeared form the site for a while after very few people showed interest in the game and then i got back on and like 16 people have asked for an invite So i am going to get serious about pulling something together and figuring out who is going to be in it.
Welcome back. I'm still interested. Just drop me a line when you have a schedule. I'll jump in if I'm free.
I would love to play too, though id have to learn (i know the books, but not the rpg yet, though i have access to a copy). Looks like a lot of fun.
I would be interested. I would need to learn the system...and the setting is fine also since I live in Las Vegas..
I would also be interested and have both WotC books. In MST time zone and am free except Thursday and Friday nights.
I am more than interested! I just finished up Cold Days and I've run the system before. Keep me posted!
Has this started? I'm looking to get into a game so I can learn more about how to use the roll20 tool. I'm familiar with the Dresden system as well.
Can anyone else GM this if the OP isn't around anymore?
For those who are still looking. <a href="http://community.roll20.net/discussion/3911/dresden-files-9-to-11-pm-est-every-other-thursday#Item_1" rel="nofollow">http://community.roll20.net/discussion/3911/dresden-files-9-to-11-pm-est-every-other-thursday#Item_1</a>
Keith K. I would Love to join and play, but have not played before. I do have experience in other games if it would help some. Hopefully I can join!
