Lookin for DM to run dungeons within a 4e campaign. Look inside for more info.

Hello, I am currently a member within the D&D 4e campaign titled The Resurgence of the Guild. We're a long running campaign in a totally homebrew world. The DM of our campaign is looking for a DM to run dungeons for our campaign. I personally don't have much more information than that but if you like the idea of this then I will connect you to our DM and you can discuss the further details.
If he is willing to work with me ill help out, i am always looking for practice. But i am very new to 4e
I'm confused. You have a DM in a homebrew campaign, but wants another DM to run dungeons? Does the DM not enjoy that part? If they don't, why have dungeons in the first place.
I am also confused. Why didn't the DM post this message so he could offer more advice? Cause as mentioned either it seems like he wants a new DM solely for the purpose of running dungeons or he is looking for someone to take over his game which is really tough given the fact that it is a homebrew world.
No the reason he is looking for another DM is that he is very busy and wants to give his players, which there are a lot of them, more playing time. He has a full time job and can't be there as much as he wants, so he is looking for a DM to run dungeon crawls for him. Also like I said he's very busy so I posted for him, told him I'd send them his way if they were interested.
Here is my DM's profile if you want to send him a PM if you are interested or have questions. https://app.roll20.net/users/60376/denathil-the-mutt-verasi
Well, good luck with that. I'd rather not run another person's design and structure. I can't be creative or random, and that would bore me to death.
I have to concur with Michael, stepping into the world another built would severely limit your creative options. On top of that there is always the problem of the stuff you do create, run or expand on not being liked by the original creator and so he either has to deal with whatever it is being in his game/world or retcon it completely. I do not think you will find many DM's willing to step into someone else's shoes but I do wish your group the best of luck.
Hello, let me address your concerns gentlemen. I am seeking someone who enjoys crafting dungeon crawls, that much has been made clear. I work... a lot, especially during the summer months (I work with kids, so the more time they have off the less time I do.) I have players who I, to my grand despair, cannot get to the table as often as I would like. Now, what do I mean by my first statement? I refer to someone who likes designing short runs without worrying that they need to involve a heavy story-line tied to each corner turned, side-quests, this sort of thing. Initially I sought another DM, or even a player just getting into DMing who wanted to dip their toes into the water without taking the full dive and drowning. I would never fully give over my world to another DM, because it would be a headache for them and a heartbreak for me! I have also been seeking DMs in need of players to not participate -in- my world, but to be able to have a Player Pool in which they could run their one-shots (Either with or without the characters in the existing campaign). The players are wonderful and I merely am trying to let them get into the thick of it more often. Best regards, Denathil the Mutt, Dungeon Master of the Resurgence of the Guild
