Aces and Eights on Roll20

I've been playing around with porting the Shot Clock and target shillouettes for Aces and Eights combat resoution into Roll20. It actually works pretty well. The shooter can move the Shot Clock around as he takes aim and the GM and other players can all observe as the card is drawn and the die is rolled. I made some 'wound' tokens to mark shots that hit the target. I've found my making a large page and putting your town/saloon map in one corner and laying the Shot Clock/Shilo tokens in another you can keep everything on one page and just shift over as needed (as opposed to changing pages). I'll be pulling all the graphic images together and posting them in a few days for anyone who is interested. Just wanted to let A&8 fans know. Only thing that would make this rock more is if a gun shot sound effect went off when a player drew his card. ;)
Oh and you can pull in cover items as well -- wagon wheels, doors, stumps, fence posts -- anything the target may be attempting to take cover behind. I'll be putting some cover items in the graphic-packet as well.
JB... that simply kicks ass! :D
thanks. It's actually a lot of fun.
Looks good, nicely done. I remember playing this a while time ago in a face to face game, definitely some of the most interesting mechanics of any game to date.
I tested a screen video capture app today -- it shows how the A&8 components work. hope it's okay to post the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdXWq8lsh_c&feature=youtu.be
Wow interesting, I was actually looking at trying to do something like that to see if it would be possible to easily play Aces & Eigths on roll20. Thanks !
