Experienced GM looking for players (new or experienced welcome) for an ongoing Fantasy Flight Star Wars Campaign (see details below) on Saturdays starting around 9 AM Eastern Standard Time, to be played weekly. LFG Link .Starting roughly one year before the destruction of Alderaan and the Battle of Yavin, this campaign focuses on the adventures of an "irregular unit" of the Alliance military who are both pilots and commandos, known only as Void Squadron. The brave pilots of Void Squadron face overwhelming odds in their ongoing fight against the Empire. Void Squadron is based on a space station in the Pyrex Sector called The Vector, where they pose as mere mercenaries, right under the nose of the local Imperial authorities. Character Creation Specifics Other than the Gank, species from any Fantasy Flight Games books are allowed. Careers & Specializations may be selected from Edge of the Empire or Age of Rebellion. Force & Destiny Careers & Specializations are not immediately available (but may become available if the PCs make contact with Force Using characters and receive training). Obligation/Duty/Morality: For this game, we will be using Obligation (from Edge of the Empire) AND Morality (from Force & Destiny). Duty (from Age of Rebellion) will NOT be used. Every character must have both an Obligation, and a Morality. I will be using a House Rule for non-Force Sensitive characters who fall below the "Dark Side" threshold. Characters may not opt to begin play with additional Obligation or Morality. Special Bonus: Since all characters in this game are required to be members of a fighter pilot squadron, I am providing one rank in the following skills to all players, regardless of Career & Specialization; Astrogation, Gunner, Piloting (Space), and Piloting Planetary. These are added after other skills are purchased, and do not count against the player's starting allotment. Characters CAN exceed the 2 rank maximum for starting characters in this way. About Me I am a very story-oriented GM, and prefer to use the dice more as a guideline outside of combat.  I don't claim to be a perfect GM, or even a great one, but I prefer it if everyone in the game can have fun, which I believe sometimes being willing to say "no" to players.  I've been running various RPGs for over 20 years, including every iteration of Star Wars RPG from the WEG/d6 2nd Edition onward.  I do not hold to the "GM vs. Players" mentality of gaming, rather I prefer a cooperative storytelling experience.   What I expect from players Creativity and willingness to invest in the story and characters of the game are pretty important.  Respect for other players and the GM (me) is also important which includes (amongst other things) giving every character a chance to shine, and treating every player (if not necessarily their character) with respect.  That being said, maturity is also a must.  I'm not referring to "Mature Content" here, I'm referring to being able to handle the normal stresses of social gaming without hand holding or coddling.
