I am looking for 7 additional DMs and 4 players per DM to participate in a gladiator style combat arena with pathfinder rules.
DMs will act as the coaches, gladiator school, and judges. Each DM will have a team of four players. These four players will be pitted in a deadly 4v4 arena combat against a group of their peers. The DMs will get a set amount of gold to spend on their school. The players and DM will then work out who gets what, and who will play which role. All core races, classes, and items are allowed. No magic items. No masterwork items. Before each battle each DM will submit his team roster/item list the the opposing DM to check for inaccuracies. Once both DMs agree, let the battle commence!
If a gladiator should fall in combat, the player may roll a second character for use in the next battle. Any damage that brings the character to -15 hitpoints or less will result in a kill, without the option of reviving. No exceptions.
A team wins when all of their opponents are incapacitated, or dead. incapacitated characters may be played again.
This will be a standard eight team tournament, matches will be best two out of three. Winners moving on to the next round.
