Complete noobie to this world and eager to learn.

Hi,  Someone was kind enough to recommend me to this site and I have no idea where to start.  I would love to start playing immediately, but I'm not sure what to do first.

Oh Thank you so much for your reply.  I didn't even consider the time zone. I think I got too excited.  I love fantasy and I live in the Pacific Time Zone and I'm usually available during the weekday, except for Wendesday.
