The Fourth Crusade has sacked the holy city of Constantinople, leaving the once magnificent city bleeding like a wounded animal before the ravenous Turkish wolves that are emerging from the East. The Christian kingdoms of Europe wage petty power struggles, too bloated on their own extravagance and age old feuds to see the threats that rise on all sides. Meanwhile the sin of Caine has spawned a cursed horror that stalks the night, immortal blood drinking predators that menace the darkening hours. They prey upon the king that hides in his castle just as the shepherd that shivers in his hut. It is this world where you find yourself. This is the world where you are born, live, and die. Yet your story will not end with your death, like so many to come before you. You will go on, touched by the sin of Caine and the blasphemy that spills forth from the veins of his children. Immortality awaits. _________________________________________________________ This is a Vampire: The Masquerade game that will be utilizing the Vampire the Dark Ages: 20th Anniversary Edition book to begin with. The Chronicle will begin in the high middle ages and finish sometime in the Final Nights with the rise of Gehenna. Whether your character(s?) survive to bear up beneath the weight of immortality is based entirely upon the whims of fate and their own cunning. We will only consider mature, reliable players for participation. Males must be +25 or older, females must be +18 or older. The game is to be run via voice chat on Skype and the Roll20 interface. This is a World of Darkness game so strong adult themes are to be expected, such as graphic violence, disturbing imagery and some sexual content. Our first meeting is to take place Sunday, October 11th at 7 PM Pacific time where we will be discussing character creation and the content of the game.
