Camera will just not work

Hi, I used a webcam once and it worked fine. When i wanted to use it again, it didn't work at all. Since it wasn't my webcam anyway, I didn't care much anyway. But then I bought a new webcam, just for the purpose of playing on Roll20. A Logitech C270 to be exact. Right when it arrived I made sure that it worked, went to multiple Online Webcam Test sites, on which it all worked fine. The old webcam worked once on Firefox, but as FF sucks for Roll20, I got Chrome. Now no webcam works on any browser for Roll20. I have the latest Chrome version, the latest webcam driver and the latest drivers in general. I made sure I allow webcam and microphone usage a thousand times. I made sure the correct devices are selected in Chrome and on the PC. When i switch to "broadcast voice" it works just fine, my headset mic is being used. Once i switch to "broadcast voice and video", nothing works. No video, no voice. I turned off any addons, including AdBlock. My mate uses the exact same webcam. I don't know what to do anymore. Felix, sorry to hear you are having problems. Let's start off with the  audio visual troubleshooting guide first then we can start with other guides if it does not work.

Ok Felix, the next step is to run through our  general troubleshooting guide . Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including posting all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you. The only other thing I can think of suggesting is for you to click on the small icon in front of your url (looks like a padlock or a camera) and check your permissions.

As I said, Roll20 isn't made for FF anyways, if I go to that browser I can't even see or hear others anymore. I already checked my permissions a million times. I already disabled all my extensions. Tomorrow I'll try having my antivir disabled.

Disabling the antivirus did the job! Weird thing, even after turning it back on and refreshing, it still worked! I guess that fixed it somehow. Thank you!

Glad to hear it solved itself when you disabled the AV. I'm going to close this thread but if you have any more problems please create a new thread.
