Display pngs with alpha in the search as a special color?

Is there any way for search results to show where the alpha layer is? I often get results that look perfect but end up being jpegs with a flattened white square background. Is it possible to show transparency, either as magenta or perhaps that photoshop style checkered background?
All the Devin Night tokens have proper transparency, so if you use them... you'll never have to worry. Plus they're all the same style.
Not my style, though. And I'm using map objects in this case, not so much tokens.
Could be resolvable by just adding a simple "transparency" flag icon on thumbnails for transparent objects.
