Your Library: Maps

I have been working on various ways to integrate some of my works into the map layer. In this I used the align to map option which was problematic at best, so I thought of a simple method for reducing this issue further. I suggest an export option for the current page that we would be working on, allowing us to export the white-space exactly as it would be needed to be an exact match on drag n drop. The exported .png or .jpg can then be edited in our favored editor. Provide a specific folder for these assets thus allowing for direct drag and drop optimization and keeping them separate from other assets. Thus when a GM drags the map out onto the matching page dimensions it will automatically fit and have the grid aligned. I have managed to work in single tiles at 70x70 pixels yet I still have to set the dimensions in the map to 90x80 to get the hex to line up just right, cell for cell. However, getting a pre-hexed map to line up right is exponentially more troubling.

If you need help using our align to grid system please let me know. Assuming the map you are using has straight lines I have yet to find a square map that cannot be aligned. Hex maps are a bit more difficult but I can usually align them in about 5minutes. If you need me to show you how send me a PM.  - Gauss
Aye, I am a bit lazy. I will toss you a couple maps I made and get some tips.
