Hey Justin I'm running a homebrewed 5e game but I am extremely welcoming to new players. I actually like that you are new as it will give me a chance to see what someone not jaded by RPGs thinks of the houserule stuff I'm doing. This game is going to be an actual playtester for a new set of houserules I'm working with. It should be a great adventure with a solid plot that takes place in a cool sandbox, it gives the group a common goal and a reason to play without restricting player freedom in anyway. I would love to have someone inexperienced like you join us and help decide which rules do and dont work during play. Don't worry about memorizing the rules as I am more than happy to explain things as they become relevent during play. This game is also going to work as a recruitment tool for the campaign that comes after so long term and short term players are welcome. The only thing that might turn you away is that this particular game will be humans only but it is only to give me a baseline for the playtest. If you can stand the changes I'd love to have you in the game, hopefully we get to tell some great stories together.
