1st level one-shot adventure--75% combat/25% roleplay--New players are welcome! This game will be in the backwoods and frontier country of the River Kingdoms in the Pathfinder World of Golarion. Nestled deep inside the Echo Woods on the northeast border of the River Kingdoms is the town of Thornkeep. This small cradle of civilization is a lawless settlement that gives shelter to folk both dangerous and desperate. Goblins roam the streets with humans in a strange co-existence. Some goblins talk about the past goblin Kingdom of Zog which once stood in the area. Adventurers come to Thornkeep to make their fortune by exploring the ruins of the legendary Azlanti civilization from thousands of years ago. Others come to look for mercenary work protecting trade caravans or to lead an outlaw's life. But turning outlaw is likely to get one killed quickly in Thornkeep, as only the strongest survive in this frontier town. What choices will you make as you arrive in the backwoods of the River Kingdom? What can be found in the ruins of the legendary Azlanti civilization? What is to be made of the known bandits and goblins that call Thornkeep their home? This will be my first time DMing in a long time and also the first time with roll20. So, please keep that in mind and have a little patience throughout the game. It is anticipated that the game will be 75% combat and 25% roleplaying. The rules will be largely based on D&D 3.5 edition with the campaign setting coming from Pathfinder. Character creation can come from either the 3.5 PHB or the Pathfinder Core Rule book. As this is probably a one-shot adventure, races and classes are restricted to those found in the aforementioned books. Characters will be made at 1st level. Ability scores will be a base 10 with a 22 point buy-in plus racial modifiers. Character classes are those in the PHB or Pathfinder Core Rule book. No evil alignments. Standard starting gold and equipment. If you are interested in playing please reply to this post or PM me. If you have a character concept post your character ideas with a link to myth-weavers or some other similar website for review. Optimally this adventure will be with 4-6 players. Also, please have a working mic, I don't care about a camera but being able to talk is nice. Last but not least, I am a first time DM with this thing, so be gentle!!! UPDATE: THIS GAME IS CURRENTLY FULL. Thanks to all those who have shown interest.
