New (but well read) Player Seeks Group for D&D 5E

Hey Guys as the title implies I am new to D&D, I have read the players handbook and have created a level 1 Human/Fighter build complete with backstory (available on request) I am very eager for my first campaign or even session. I live in the UK but I'm pretty flexible time wise, I don't really feel qualified to state my favourite 'style' of game as I'm such a Noob, but I imagine rather serious tone with occasional humour would be a fun setting to play in. Anyway if you think there is a chance I could play with you/join a group or even if you have any questions please feel free to pm me or reply to the forum. :)
