[5e] Does nobody like Out of the Abyss?

Hello everyone, I was looking through the game listing and LFG forums and could find only ONE out of the abyss campaign which surprised me because all the reviews have been great from what I hear. Do DM's just hate it compared to Hoard of the Dragon Queen/Princes of the Apocalypse/Lost Mines of Phandelver? Well, in the apparently tiny chance that the ONE DM out there that's looking to run this adventure is also looking for a player, here's a little about me: My name is John, as you probably could have guessed from my username =P i'm 24 years old and have been playing 5e since right around the start of the year, prior to that I was mostly playing pathfinder. Most of the time I enjoy playing durable front line type characters. My timezone is PST though years of playing games with friends on the east coast has made me quite able to adapt to EST timezones, I would prefer to play toward the evening but so long as it isn't in the AM PST I should be able to accomodate. I REALLY hope to find a game for this adventure as I've heard great things about it, and the theme seems like its right up my alley, so if you're starting up a campaign and are in need of players i'm your guy!
Hi John, I'm Nick. I would also like to play out of the abyss, and I am also PST (well, Arizona). I am available Monday/Wednesday Nights (5:30ish-1130ish), Saturday most of the day depending on group needs. I've got some decent experience with 5E but basically none with Roll20. I'm just posting this junk here because maybe others will be interested in playing as well.
i enjoy Out of the Abyss i play it every wedsday night with friends in real life with dice but not on roll 20 so i know the story so i not going to play it on roll20.
i'd be interested in doing an Out of the Abyss Campaign
I see quite a few people on Twitch running Out of the Abyss.
I can only speak for myself on this but I would not be surprised if this is applicable to other people.  I don't run Out of the Abyss on here for the simple reason that I haven't finished running the other campaigns yet.  I bought those books and would like to get through them.  If you only play 3 hours a week (which based on my experience on here, is a fairly typical run time), even a relatively short campaign like Horde of the Dragon Queen is going to take up to five or six months unless the group just stampedes through the RP side of things.  Throw in Rise of Tiamat and Princes of the Apocalypse, and you're looking at basically 18-24 months worth of playing material that has come out in the first year of 5e.  Even assuming Out of the Abyss is the best one, which by all accounts it is, there's a lot of other material that is already sitting on our shelves to run.  I'm guessing you're going to start seeing more Out of the Abyss showing up in early 2016.
I will be running this on sundays 6pst may move to 7 pst for work i havent announced it or put it in lfg cause i have quite a few normal players on here. if you want to join us i require a pm. and this check list 1. skype 2. a pre-game with the players 3. ability to make a character 4. have you played with dynamic lighting as a player? yes or no answer 5. what you enjoy playing and what you dont (class wise)
Personally, I'm waiting for the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide to come out before posting anything.  More options is a good thing for players, but I need to see if the balance is still there before I allow it.
