Horrible performance on very simple campaign on very powerful PC.

I've got a high end gaming rig, and just started hosting a simple little campaign to get people into DnD. As a result, there's very little going on. less than 10 tokens I believe, no drawings of any kind, nothing that should make the performance anywhere near as bad as it was. And others playing with less powerful machines reported no issues at the time my issues started. Only one other player experienced the same thing. I've always felt that Roll20 was less than optimal performance wise, having trouble with scrolling and zooming, but other than that it was responsive enough to get the job done. Now it's so bad I can't reliably pan around to see what is going on or do anything without a 5 second delay and horrible performance. I'd love to know what might be causing this, if it's a random issue with the campaign, or my computer, or if it's just something that's going to be there. It breaks the functionality almost entirely, so I'd like to get this fixed. We wanted to play tonight but with the DM and one of the players having this issue it's not going to happen, which is a pain because we've been trying to get this second session in for about a week now.

By the looks of things, the culprit is probably your chat history. You and your players have made some pretty significantly large dice rolls (like the 2000d10 roll for ex.) in the past. That is going to cause significantly slowdowns because the campaign keeps track of the entire chat history. There's two ways to remedy this, you can either permanently delete your chat history from the campaign details page. Or you and your players can temporary clear your chat history while playing the campaign by going to the My Settings tab in the Sidebar and clicking on the "Clear Current Chat Log".
