Double Messages for LFG

When I run my campaigns, I find that when someone sends me a message in LFG, I get two messages, which is quite annoying. So, two people apply, four messages. Clogs the inbox.

Have you clicked to 'follow' threads that exist as part of a games private forum? If you are a player or the creator of a game you will receive notifications by default. Opting to then follow those same forum threads will then also give you a notification which can result in the behaviour seen here. Try to 'unfollow' the threads giving you issues and see if you still receive 1 notification when a post is made.

Chris, Was what Silvyre suggested your problem or is it still happening? If it is still happening then can you follow the general troubleshooting guide. Can you please follow Steps 1-3 of our Solving Technical Issues wiki page, taking special care to temporarily disable all browser add-ons and extensions, temporarily pause your anti-virus, and try switching browsers (for Chrome/Firefox specific issues) to see if one of those components is causing the problem. If all of that fails, please follow Step 4 , including providing all of the necessary information, so that we can further assist you.
