Pandemonio

You lived your life like any other human being. You wake up, get dressed, go to work, come home and sleep. Then suddenly, all you remember from that day, is a bright light originating from the center of the city consuming your sight. As you are blinded from this light a whisper enters your ear. 'Your reckoning has begun' You awaken in a foreign room, a hotel room maybe, your unsure. You see a cellphone on the night stand with a message that says: 'You have been saved from the suffering of the fallen. When you are ready to repay you debt, come down stairs.' Down stairs there's a woman, late 20s, she has long red hair, green eyes, and freckles. Wears white, nothing but white clothing and Glasses. With her are some other 'people', although that term is used very loosely. The woman takes out a cellphone and types something down as all the phones in the room buzz with a message tone. The message reads 'I have saved you all from the clutches of the fallen, in return for my immortality. While you have slept, the fallen have begun a murder spree all over the world. I have brought you to Boston, Massachusetts where the focus of the Fallen have appeared. If you wish to save your world from their Apocalypse then stay here and fight, otherwise get out you ungrateful humans.' Your reason is your own for staying. You have taken your new handle name and will now fight to keep the world from plunging into destruction. ==================================================================================================================== This is a table top game which the writing/design/layout was done by Rafael Chandler. It is a game where you hunt demons/angels. Think Hell blazer (Constantine) comics. There is a lot of mature content (satanic rituals, dismemberment, horrifying images, ect.), so player discretion is advised. This is 75% action based game, with its own rule system. If you feel like picking up a new tabletop game, with easy to learn mechanics then send me a message. Before I forget, we will be using skype for voice communication and Sessions will be on Thursdays at 8p.m EST. Other wise leave questions here.
I'll need details. How do stats work. Weapons? Etc.
Stats: Think a point buy system. you have 3 defensive stats (Reflex, Traction, and Instinct) which you get to spend 9 points on (each must have a minimum of 1 in each). Then you have 2 offensive stats (Magic and Violence) which you have 7 points to spend on (each must have a minimum of 1 in each). However each stat can't go past 9. Equipment: This is modern times, so weapons range from a human femur to an RPG. Each weapon has their own independent amount of damage they do. ranged weapons have clips, which must be bought or you might run out of ammo fighting a thick hide demon. Armor is like DR in DnD/Pathfinder, however they have health. So when they reach 0, they are useless. you get 1d12 of cash to spend on weapons and armor, as well as many misc items that maybe useful. Hp: you get 12 'hp', when you reach 0 you get 18 hp to finish combat. Once combat ends, your character may die as you (the character) see fit (smoke a cigarette, epic speech, curse the heavens, ect.) Skills: you get 6 skill points to distribute. Skills can be anything from construction worker to Political leader (think professions with specializations). you can focus on one skill or have many. If you use a skill, it must make sense for the action you doing. Ex: A teacher(Highschool) skill can't be used to try to picklock a door. Spells: each class gets a set list of spells (Sacrament or Blasphemy) from which they can choose from. You get a number of spells per a case equal to your magic stat. Stunts: These are special maneuvers that can even the playing field when you’re up against powerful opponents. You start with 3, and you can earn more each time you complete an adventure. Contacts: Your Contacts are people that you can turn to for help during the game. They also furnish you with leads or clues. However, contacts will expect a favor in return if you ask for their help too much.

Also, for those reading this, I have books that will explain more in detail about combat and other aspects of the game. I will also run a few mock sessions before officially starting the "campaign" and answer more q
Alrighty.
Hi Nick, It's cool someone else knows about this game. Thursdays don't work for me right now, but if you started a game in the future (say 2016) I could be interested. For the curious, you can get the rules for Pay What you Want (including for free) here: <a href="http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/121027/Pandemonio" rel="nofollow">www.drivethrurpg.com/product/121027/Pandemonio</a>
