Session 17 Log
With ancillary funds, Neon Tigers arranges to fix up the
lower floors. We hire Pan-Gal to spruce it up. We make sure they rotate crews
to inquire about the bombing. The gang goes down to see “Rodworth” go fight in
the Entropy’s End club.
We see Drodo, the eight-limbed Dralasite trainer, the
bouncer, and the bartender. We notice the cloaked robot again. “Rodworth” is
fighting in 30 min. Eusyl puts 50 Sty. On the other guy. We keep an eye out for
Dack, but we don’t see him. We do see one that matches the description, except
with hair.
Rodworth buys the guy a drink and greets him, asking his
opinion of “Rodworth”. He mentions the bounty and tells Rod that Dack shot
himself with a rocket launcher. He mentions that his friends would know more, including
a nurse he hangs with; Galilea. Rodworth talks to Drodo and asks for a picture
of “Rodworth”. He shows him, a picture of a tan, buff Human. He also shows a
picture of Dack, who has a shaved head and a distinctive face.
Eusyl follows the guy into the Pink Monkey. She shadows him
for the night.
“Rodworth”’s fight begins between him and a male Yazirian.
Someone mentions that “Rod” has stamina because “you know what he does with
Valkyries.” “Rod” loses and Rodworth confronts him about his name. “Rodworth”
agrees to change his name to “throwdor”.
Turning to the Wind problem, we plan to raid a drug shipment
then blame the Screechers. We activate our Irregulars to spot their patterns
and figure out the shipment.
Eusyl fails to follow the man after leaving the Pink Monkey
and he confronts her. She heads back to the Labyrinth. Yaz and the Rat-Faced
Man go up to the top floor. Yaz doubles back and tries to catch him as the Man
heads for the Monorail.
Back at the base, the guys try to find the RFM in the video
recordings we’ve made of the fight club. He is a regular at the club. The
computer notes a Vrusk showing a picture of Dack. He is armed with an
electrostunner and a pistol.
The cleaning crews say that an expert gunner quit angrily
yesterday. Rodworth heads over to Glimmer Dome on personal business. He picks
up an expensive ring. He offers it to Artemis, who demurs. Rod inquires if
they’re going to move against the Winds. He implies the Screechers may make a
move.
Rodworth suggests giving Nilo’s computer to Alice to justify
our retainer. Balta’Sax joins him on the trip. As they ride along, Galilea
comes on the train and heads over. She says that people have told her that she
knows that we’re looking for Dack and the bounty is big enough that others might
seek to eliminate the competition. She gets off with them at the Arbor. Balta’Sax
follows her. She comes to a mansion called Prasa with stone walls and solid
gold combat bots disguised as statues. The family is into Mining primarily.
Rodworth arrives and presents the computer to the Butler.
Rod tells him how we recovered it. He shows him the picture of the person Nilo
was trying to meet. Butler agrees to run a computer scan on it. The quillbat
situation has evolved; people are home-growing them for the bounty.
The two meet up and share info and head back to base.
Rodworths’ chrono goes off. Butler reveals that the man is not native; called
Rock Haggard. He also mentions that the wild Quillbats tend to be found in the
lowest levels of the domes.
We are awarded 6000 styrigi from Alice.
