I'm not sure if this specific feature has been suggested. I did a couple quick searches for the like but nothing really popped for me. But I believe there should be a "draw" item much like shape, lines, or text boxes that are specifically for the DM. I do understand that there is a GM overlay, however it's been quite inconvenient for anything past being the layer where I hide my monsters. It could be in the form of a small button that you place over your map or even on the map layer(so long as it's not visible to players). For example, should I see fit to create a very dense very treacherous dungeon, I'd rather not have my GM layer cluttered so much with trap door DCs and all of that information. The PC wants to try to go through this door? Is it trapped? If so, what kind of trap and what's the DC on it. What's special about the room your PCs just entered? Click the button and find out. I like to be able to access as much information as possible on a single screen and window. It could function similarly to a token. When you click it the information expands in a non-popout box. Click it again and it contracts back into the original small button. I just think it would be a really convenient feature. Any feedback would be appreciated. If anybody has already come up with a solution that doesn't require a second monitor or looking at hand written/printed notes that'd be awesome too!
