Happy Marketplace update day! Huzzah! I've got a good chunk of new packs up this month, including an autumn expansion to the forest pack, for this most glorious time of year, a token pack featuring 25 thieves, assassins, bandits , thugs, rogues and brigands to harry and harass your party, a street-dressing expansion for the Metro-matic and dystopio-matic sets that will help make your city streets look a lot less Spartan, and the first pack of fantasy non-dungeon maps I've put out, an city and village pack with some Asian flair . As always, all my sets play nice together. They work in the same scale, and you can use assets from any map pack with any other map pack. A brief word about the "Realms of Fordaar" series of packs; these will be packs set in my homebrew fantasy world. They're not meant to depict any particular race from either the real world or any other popular fantasy series. But I'm a firm believer that there are way more fantasy settings to explore beyond Ye Olde Medieval European Village, and I'll be publishing a whole world full of villages and cities with very different motifs, aesthetics, and climates. Including Ye Olde Medieval European Village. This is the homebrew I'm DMing on Sundays right now, and all of the big, complete maps are places my characters needed. The reason there's a destroyed temple...is because my party burned the temple down. They do that. The "Fordaar" sets' release order is pretty much just based on where my players decide to go every week. Eventually, I hope to offer full modules, NPC token packs, and the pie in the sky plan is to publish the whole shebang as a campaign setting once it's done. But give me a follow @BrassBadger on twitter and let me know if maps with a story behind them are something that you'd like to see more of.
