LFG Pathfinder or D&D 3.5/5E - PST Late Night

Hello! I'll be joining the chorus of new players looking to give Roll20 a try. This will be my second attempt at Roll20, my first about 5 months ago, being unsuccessful due to RL drama eating away my free time. Those issues aside, I am ready to give this another try! About Me: Been role playing and enjoying RPGs a long long time. It all started in the mid to late 80's with my Commodore 64. Classic games like Might & Magic 1 & 2, Bard's Tale, Wasteland, Knights of Legend and whatnot. Played a bit of D&D but didn't really understand it. I was young and it was still very niche. My love for RPGs continued with classic titles like Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale and Neverwinter, and it's various spin offs and sequels. I got hooked on MMOs for a while as a die hard, full immersion role player who rarely left character. I've just finished up with some ambitious RP projects and now I'm looking to get back to the basics and try D&D and roll20 again. Play Style: I firmly believe in keeping OOC and IC separate. I don't meta or power game, and I feel that there is story value in failures just as there is with successes. I like to play realistic characters. Traveling merchants. Retired or out of work guard. Farmer turned adventurer. Runaway with a secret past. Characters with substance. Rarely, if ever, will I play something like the son of a god/deity/chieftain. To cliche for me. This means I also don't mind playing utility characters to someone's story centered main character. You can certainly be a knight out doing noble deeds or on some kind of vision quest. I'll be the guy that goes along with you in the hopes of making enough gold coins to pay the rent at the end of the month. What I'm looking for: I've singled out Pathfinder and D&D (3.5 and 5e) since they seem to be the easiest for a new/returning player to pick up. However, I'm open to anything really. My main concern is session scheduling. I'm Pacific Coast time and would prefer a later start. 9pm - 11pm any night but Monday and Thursday. Already committed IRL those evenings, unless it's a 10pm or later start. Voice or Text preferred, though I will make no promises regarding character accidents! So, if you're a DM putting together a group I'd be happy to try out for it. If you're another player in the same situation (dates, times, availability, etc) feel free to drop me a line or reply here. Who knows, if we get a group together we might have more luck finding a DM than we would as single players.
Well, I wish I was a GM with an offer, but as it is I'm just a player in the same boat as you, desiring a game, and you sound like a player I'd definitely want to play with (I'm one of those RP>everything types). Normally PST plays havoc with scheduling due to my GMT timezone, but if my maths works out at those times it'd be early morning for me, which would work out well (and frees up most of the week, as I have no morning sessions at the moment). As I lack a mic (and prefer the clarity of text anyway), It'd have to be a text-based campaign, though. Here's hoping a GM wafts through and sees this...

https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/34833/what-smil... Take a look at this, you sound like someone that may fit in with the group so far. If you like what you see feel free to message me. I can't promise that I will choose you outright, but your post has caught me eye. I have to be fair to those that apply. The game starts at eleven pm est and runs until either two am or three am depending on the session. It is on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The combat system is a bit different. There is no grid and things are designed to make it more fluid and hectic.
