Is Roll20 Still Incompatible With L5R 4e's Emphasis Reroll System?

Okay, so I ask this as about two years ago (ca. 2013), it was discovered that it was impossible for Roll20's dice engine to support the "emphasis re-roll" mechanic in L5R 4th Edition, which is "re-roll 1's, but only once". I'm about to start in a new game that's going to use Roll20, and this issue got brought up by a newer player and upon investigation of the Roll20 Wiki, it appears that the 'ro' modifier will do this. So, 1. Did 'ro' exist as a roll modifier two years ago? 2. Does this fix the issue? E.g. will the "re-roll 1's, but only once" work correctly with the use of 'ro'? I know this has been asked a LOT in the past, and I'm simply asking here for clarification so that I don't confuse the newer players (well, and of course, so i can have Roll20 do my emphasis rolls for me if it's fixed!). Thanks in advance for your answers.

From the Dice Reference, Rerolling Dice : Special Case: Reroll Once (B,F) roCP In some systems (such as D&D 5E) you want to reroll dice below a certain value, but you only want to reroll the dice one time each. To do that, just use ro instead of r . Example Reroll Once Rolls 2d10ro<2 - Roll 2 d10's and reroll any time a 2 or lower is rolled, but only up to one time per dice. This functionality was added in the last year, I believe.

Jake M. said: Also, just so you are aware ro (roll once) only affects one die, so if you roll 4d10 and get two 1's, only ONE of those will get rerolled [[4d10ro<1]] That's not true, I just tried it.
Each die has to have the possibility of re-rolling on a 1, and only once. If that causes unwieldy roll commands, then I'm inclined to do it manually. If there's a simple way to do it automatically with Roll20's roll syntax and modifiers, then I'd be happy to look at it, but so far....looks like that ain't happening.

What are you going on about? GenKitty answered your question... re-roll once does just that. It re-rolls any dice that come up as the specified number, once. Even if it's multiple dice.
Others say that that only works for one die? Any and all dice need to reroll only once on a 1 in a roll.... Clarification on this would be nice. If ro really does reroll all dice only once (indvidually) that roll a certain value, then that'd fix my issue.

must of been confused with something else, whoops!
How do you tell the rerolled dice from the rolled dice? It looks like the first 4 values are 1, 1, 2, 1, with the rerolls being 2 and 2; but whether you're rerolling the low values or the high values, there should be 7 or 5 rolls, not 6. Are the rerolls happening immediately in-line, rather than at the end, where they should be?
