Hi. I'm looking for an ongoing campaign that will do more than play out of a book or module. I've scoured the LFG listings and find no games that actually describe settings, what they're playing, and how they play. It just says "Hi. Playing 5E. If you're interested, join." I'd like to play a game where I know what I'm getting into. For experience, I've been on roll20 since the beginning of this year and have been playing D&D 5th Edition and Hackmaster 5th Edition since. I prefer roleplaying to actual dice rolling, and a DM who is rich in his ability to describe the world we're in. So you can say I'm somewhere between New and Experienced. We'll say "Somewhat Experienced." I own all materials required to both play and DM D&D and Hackmaster and have read through the books multiple times. A little about myself: I'm 20 years old, working in air conditioning in Texas, United States. I have a somewhat sarcastic sense of humor and like to goof off in Skype with my close friends. With playstyles, I prefer the Fighters and Barbarians, though I've enjoyed playing each class. It always feels better to hit the enemy with a bigass sword than a fireball, if you ask me. My characters tend to have big goals and grand dreams, and plenty of flaws that make them interesting to play. Let's face it, nobody likes playing the perfect character and nobody likes playing WITH the perfect character. Most of mine generally stay in the Good alignment, and have deep pride in codes of honor. I don't enjoy playing characters who willingly sell out their companions, or do really douchey things such as stealing from party members (I have no respect for players who do this kind of stuff. It ruins the game, and is only fun for the person doing the stealing). As I live in Texas and work full time (having to get up at 5:30 am every morning), my time-zone is Central USA. My free days are Saturday (any time after 3:30pm), and Sunday (all day, preferably until about 11pm at the VERY LATEST). Also, I prefer to roll stats. Point Buy or Standard Array feels so lame. If you're interested in inviting me to a game or would like me to pitch a character, please reply here or send me a PM. Thanks for your time.
