Greetings roll20 forums, I'm looking for a fate game to play in :) I run my own fate game on wednesdays, but I've been wanting to try my hand at playing as well. I've tried using the looking for group function for a couple of weeks now but almost all games are at times that are great for Americans, but not for me. About the game time Games that start at 1pm EST or earlier are great for me (that would be 6pm GMT which is 7pm/19:00 CET). Also games played late in australian timezones work out well for me (except for thursdays) but I don't know the exact conversion there. The kind of game I'm looking for I'm looking for a game with a lot of cinematic flair. Anime style games spring to mind but that wouldn't be the only group of genres I'm interested in. Basically any game that would allow me to give my stunts flashy names and shout them out during combat or offer snide quips such as "remember this as the day you almost caught captain jack sparrow" would have me hooked in no time. About me I'm a very social player and it's very important to me that the others around the table are having fun as well. I'm focussed around creating awesome stories and will often try to take risks that I think will make the story more awsome. It annoys me if other players I play with are just looking for power especially if this is at the cost of the gm or the other players, this seems less of an issue in fate though, since a powerful character usually is created by creating an awesome story. Because I'm so used to being a gamemaster I tend to offer suggestions for the story without thinking about it, if you like this, great, Ill try to do it more, if you dislike this, no problem, Ill try not to do it, it's just a subconscious thing cause I usually gm. I have a few months experience with fate core as a GM and a year of roleplaying experience as a player as well as a GM (I've previously played pathfinder, dnd and dungeon world, though imo fate > all). I speak English, Dutch and a little bit of German, my German would need a lot of work before it's good enough to roleplay with though ^^
