Looking for a player to join a well established weekly gaming group, which has been meeting each Saturday for almost 2 years. We're on our 3rd campaign now and are seeking for that elusive 5th group member that will be the ideal fit. This has been a challenge because when we ask for a "serious player", we ended up with type A's who were anal about the rules lacked people skills. On the other hand, if we didn't stress the committed player, we ended up with fluff that weren't truly into the game, if they showed up at all. What we need: - Bulletproof reliability and on time each week. Saturdays @ 1pm Pacific for about 4 hours. - An EASY GOING team player. - Appreciates a campaign with real effort put into it. - Someone who likes really getting into their characters - background, etc., but are able to smile and roll a new character if they die. - Someone who enjoys tactical combat, big bad multi-stage bosses, and likes collecting phat loot. - An older player is a bonus (most of us are 30+), but not a requirement. What you get out of it: - Join a longstanding group (same people for almost 2 years) - Play every Saturday except for very rare occasions (most DM's fluff out because they're not in the mood, etc, or disappear after 2 months) - Play with a DM that actually puts effort into the game (good luck finding that here) - Enjoy beautiful maps with dynamic lighting - The best 5E tactical combat on Roll20 - Compelling plot and story hooks - Your character shapes the world by his/her actions You would be joining a group more than a game per se , but the current one we're on is a homebrew set in the Forgotten Realms setting. The style of the games are typically fast-paced. We don't spend much time on the minutia (ie - buying stuff in town, etc). We're out there killing the baddies and taking their stuff.
