Group can't see each others Audio/Video

We can get our webcams to activate and see ourselves, but we can't see/hear the other people. This problem exists for 5 people, so I'm quite vexed as to what is wrong. For example, i turn my cam on and I can see me, but Bob cannot see nor hear me. However, everyone in the group has the same problem. Ran the connectiviy doctor and fiddled with the settings in Roll20. No dice, no changes. Any clues?

That sounds really frustrating. We're going to need you to do a few things for us, things that sometimes fix issues for users before more extensive troubleshooting is needed. Please have everyone in your group run through our A/V Troubleshooting Guide , which has eight steps. It is very important that you follow all the steps even if you've previously performed any steps prior to starting the checklist. It never hurts to repeat a step and it ensures you're at a consistent starting place when a Dev steps in to help. If along the way your problem resolves just let us know, otherwise proceed with the ninth step which is running through the non A/V troubleshooting guide.
Thanks Gen for the response. We sat down this morning and ran each person step by step through the A/V Troubleshooting Guide. Despite everyone following everything the same problem still exists for each player. We can see our own cams, but not each others. No audio either.

Alrighty, as I said above at this point please move on to step nine in the A/V guide .
We had the same problem tonight too
Can you post the console log to see if there is any information in there that could help me troubleshoot the issue?

We are having the same problem, and have had it since we tried to game Tuesday. We have four players from four different parts of the country, all are impacted. We tried the 8 or 9 steps in the Solving Technical Issues and Audie Visual Troubleshooting - with no luck. We can each see ourselves, but no audio or video feed going to each other. Jukebox sounds can be heard by all, and the "bleep" when someone chats can be heard by all - but audio and video feed from the individual gamers does not work. One of my players (praise Larry) discovered that one of our other rooms does have audio and video - just not the main room for the campaign we are playing now. (praise Larry... ok Larry - get over it!). For developers: It may be an issue with certain servers. My "That is not Dead" campaign works, but my "Do or Do Not" does not. That may help narrow down the issue.

Yes my group had the same issue last night. We did the whole AV and technical troubleshooting song and dance as well, to no avail. I wrote up a detailed bug report here: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2682836/ . But I was intrigued by what The Teller said: The Teller said: ... It may be an issue with certain servers. My "That is not Dead" campaign works, but my "Do or Do Not" does not. That may help narrow down the issue. So I went and created a new campaign and invited the other player who had been having tech issues last night. And guess what? Everything works perfectly. In THAT campaign. But NOT in our own regular one! So devs: it has something to do with some particular campaigns or servers. This is especially frustrating for me, as it means it had notihng to do with us and, so we wasted an hour last night and another today trying to solve the problem on our end. Please help! -Eugene EDIT: Aaaaaannnnd now I can't recreate the problem. I spent an hour or two this afternoon wrestling with this and gave up. And now it just starts working again? Seriously?
Our group is having the same problem. First time this has happened in a year. We have not gone through the troubleshooting guide yet. We just postponed our game until next week.
Sadly, we also had to postpone our game when we ran into this same problem tonight.
I found the same problem taking place with one of the games that i'm a part of. Instead of postponing your games, just start a new game to use the auto and or video in that one while keeping the original open to roll dice and have access to character sheets and handouts. Not a permanent fix by any means but it works as a substitute.

If you want the Devs to be able to fix the issue, we need people to go through the troubleshooting guides . Just telling us "This is broken" does not give us what we need to fix the issue. We need those console logs, but we also need you to follow all the steps before that ! Each of you in this thread aside from Danny Martini needs to start their own thread, and you need to work through the two guides, the A/V Troubleshooting Guide , followed by the Solving Technical Issues checklist , the final step of which is posting a console log and other information to help us solve the issue.

GenKitty, that's not fair. I'm in this thread and I already did all of that. I even linked to my own bug report thread above. Here it is again: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2682836/ I would appreciate it if you did not respond in this way, GenKitty. Like I said, I've done all of that already. EDIT: And it seems The Teller above reports having gone through the Troubleshooting guides as well. SECOND EDIT: And just to be clear, I am very appreciative of Roll20 and all of the efforts of the Mods and Devs. I'm justing hoping we can get this problem solved.
Teller is spot on with the issue. I created a new room this morning and checked with my group, and everything is working perfectly.
OK I am having the problem again. I just walked through ALL the Troubleshooting steps. Most updated Firefox and Chrome browsers, check. Cleared cache, logged back in, check. Broadcasting and receiving video and audio and my and my player's computer, check. Four green checkmarks on TokBox Connectivity test, check. Google video test works, giving me video, check. But now, when I enter the VTT, even though my and my player's settings are set to send and receive video and audio, neither of us see anything. If one of us goes into settings and selects Nothing (Disable), and then puts it back on Broadcast and Receive Audio/Video, we can see ourselves only down in our own avatars, but we STILL Cannot see or hear each other. Again, our hardware/camera/mic/broadband works fine, because we can Google Hangout right now, but in Roll20, nothing. Help! Here's my Firefox Concole output for logging onto the VTT and trying to initiate video/audio with a player. We're hearing reports from some folks that the built-in A/V (the WebRTC/Tokbox one) is suddenly not working. We're trying to figure out exactly what's going on here and it helps to have it all consolidated into one place. Please head to this forum thread and share the information requested to help, thanks!
