(LFG) New Player (D&D)

Hi, I'm new and looking to find a game. I understand the basics of D&D but will need some info in the character creation side in terms of what rolls need to be made or if its a set point amount. I can play most evenings 7PM (GMT) onwards up to around 2AM or 3AM (GMT). Am willing to fill any roll the group needs, don't hesitate to post I'm open to all offers.
