Building A Zombie Survival Game: Need Help!

I am working on a Zombie Survival Game (story and full game set up) and am looking for some experianced players or GM's to help create the game system. I was thinking of using the Dragon Age system since it is pretty simple to follow, build characters and play through. I have built a spread sheet currently on Docs and am looking for some gameplay help. Anyone interested??
Have you looked into Unisystem?  It has one called Zombie that seems pretty slick.

Have take a look at All flesh must be eaten? That is a zombie survival system also.
I have not. I was basically creating it from scratch. The DA engine runs with 3d6 only. It is really simple and I was just looking for class help mostly. Playable classes.

ahh. I can't help you really. I don't play zombie games but saw it mentioned a few times.
There's a zombie board game called Last Night on Earth. It has a pretty good mechanic. Before modifiers, survivors roll 2d6, zombies roll 1d6. If the survivors highest roll exceeds the zombies highest roll, you fend off the zombie. Shove it away, trip it up or something... however... if you roll doubles, you kill the zombie. If the zombies highest roll ties or exceeds the survivors highest roll, the zombie causes a wound. In the board game, there are item cards like revolvers, the fire axe, a shot gun, or chainsaw that alter how many dice the survivor rolls or lets the survivor kill the zombie even without rolling doubles and effects that let the zombie roll more dice.
Just buy yourself GURPS 4th ed Basic Set and you will never have this problem again. Ever.
I concur with Ockar R.  GURPS is flexible enough to handle almost anything (gets weird around the top end) but Zombies are a staple in my games (Fantasy, Sci-Fi, modern, etc...).
Honestly if you are trying to create a game from scratch then I would suggest either using a system that has been around for a long time (d20 or d100) or make a completely new mechanic. The second option does take a lot longer but would add a uniqueness to your game.
