3.5 Players Needed (4-6)

A group of (neutral and/or evil) players set off aboard a flying ship looking to gain riches, take over towns and cities, and destroy everything in their path. Lead by a cut throat and merciless captain, the players will be flying over towns and cities and will use the ship's siege weapons to weaken defenses; then the players will be flying down in personal gliders and will take no prisoners! If you want to save maidens, help the townspeople and do the king's bidding, this is NOT your game. If you want to capture maidens, terrorize and pillage the townspeople and spit in the king's eye, THIS IS your game. This campaign takes place in the 3.5 setting, but Magic has been replaced by Alchemy. The players will have to take on a role aboard the ship, including first mate (needs high INT), lookout/gunner (needs high DEX), engineer/alchemist (needs high INT), and a weaponsmith/weapon crafter. Players will start off at level 10 using these rolls: 18, 16, 16, 14, 14, 12. Sessions are Saturdays at 3pm Eastern (8pm GMT+0). We use Skype for voice chat. Message me if you'd like to play.

Also adding on to what i said before the game time is not fixed please tell me what days and time you are free. i can not play Tuesday Wednesday or Sunday also i cannot DM before 5PM GMT+0 because i am at work.

I'd like to join. I assume pistols and rifles are available and if so I'd like to play a double pistol and long range rifle ace shooter.
Tate if i pushed it back an hour then we could only play for 2hours MAX Kyle Yes guns are available they are pretty common item for Humans and Dwarfs to use. Early firearms like Muskets and Blunderbuss are martial weapons but advance firearm like Revolver and Shotgun are exotic firearm weapons. A potion that creak thick black smoke darkness spell
i was just asking since im at gmt +10 (its at 6am for me) but i think ill still be able to join in (im really itching for a game as a player)] I'll think about what class i should be
i am very flexible with character creation you can take any class from any of the 3.5 books. the only thing i would like is if you could avoid taking races with level adjustment. also the main races in my world are Human, dwarf and elf. Other races are their but are rarely seen.
also i am creating a sheet with extra feats and skills so i will be posting them shortly (in the next 24hours) could you guys please tell me what role you would like to play and i can give you more details on that role
Hello, I'm very 3.5 experienced and currently I'm DM of a tue night campaign but its my 5th in a row and I'm a bit burnt out I'm looking for a campaign to allow me to spread my wings a bit and I like this concept. You say your flexable with Char creation would this <a href="http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=245506" rel="nofollow">http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=245506</a> (nutral chaotic) be accepable? I already have the char personality and RP basics in mind. The char I have in mind would be willing to do just about anything she was told to as long as it didn't become tedious or monotonous and wouldn't want any kind of responsibility as far as ship command or station so I guess lookout/gunner would probably be best.
This class that you have show is either gonna be under powered or overpowered and i do not see how it can fit into my campaign
Whats your stance on the feat Brachiation (Swing through trees at normal land speed) being used to move around the sails? And having Camouflage (use hide skill in any sort of natural terrain, even if the terrain doesn't grant cover or concealment) effect hiding on ships instead of natural terrain. If you say yes to both of these i'll go as a scout ps. are we starting this week?
I like the idea of Brachiation so that a 100% yes i thought you get camouflage as a scout but if you want it as a feat sure but you have to pick your terrain swamp, forest etc... also you are mainly gona be on the ship and in city/ town so it might not be that usefull. if we get enough players i will host this saturday
also if you don't want to pick your role on the ship now you can pick on the day but you do need certain skills for certain rolls.
I'm looking at being more of a skill based guy who sits in the crows nest, so i guess the closest thing to that is the sailling master. As for camouflage, I was asking if i could change it to being ship able to hide on the ship instead of in natural terrain
well your roll would either be first mate/navigator or gunner/lookout I don't see how the camouflage would work on the ship Also depending on what roll you take you get a certain amount of crew members that you can order around. So the gunner would get quite a few men cos he need them to load the siege weapons and aim them
