Can I use two monitors for a "local" game?

I am trying to move my campaign to a VTT setup and build a digital table (using a TV). I was wondering if it were possible to use a dual monitor setup on my laptop - the laptop screen showing me the GM side, and the extra display showing a player's view? It is a "local" game in that all my players will be in the same room.
Yes.

Take a look at HoneyBadger's thread about his use of a tv for his face to face game: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/2688121/tv-plus-... There is many older threads scattered about the forum that involve the use of roll20 and a tv or extra monitors so you might have to search for them some but the short answer is yes you can use multiple monitors for your face to face game. You will need to have individual tabs open on each monitor and you will need to be a gm on the laptop tab and resign as a player (if you are going to control everything on the player's tab) so that you can move everything there. It is the easiest then otherwise you will be passing the mouse around to the players and lots of more prepwork would need to be done also.

It's actually better to use two different browsers with two different Roll20 accounts to eliminate any chances of logging in with the wrong account and showing players something they shouldn't see.
Thanks. I tried the search feature, but apparently used the wrong terms. I'll check out that thread, and I appreciate the advice about two browsers / two accounts!
I had thought about a wireless mouse for the players, but the orientation of the map and how the mouse moves would confuse a lot of people.
There's also this: http://makezine.com/2015/12/08/how-to-build-a-high-end-gaming-table-for-as-little-as-150/
That's the inspiration for my table design. Mine will potentially be cheaper than that (not counting the TV cost)

My setup is very similar (albiet we have 3 face to face players and 1 remote player). I find the easiest option is Chrome for my GM account and then using an incognito window for a Player login - then we just drag the incognito window over to the player facing monitor (or TV in our case).
Great stuff Honey Badger thanks for the link. I was just telling my group the other day that even if we all lived close and could get together I'd still use Roll20 not going back to maps and dry erase. happy gaming!

Settings and objects adjusted, added, or removed are visible to the players immediately. You can " Split the Party " effectively placing them in different "rooms" but things will still be updated immediately as you make any changes.
I have two tabs in Chrome open at the same time. One for me as the gm, and one where I click re-join game as player. I then cast that tab to my tv with my chromecast. Works perfectly.
