Looking for critters! (D&D 5e)

Sounds good, Jake, I'll put something together before tonight's episode.  With the number of people it looks like all we'll need is a DM lol 

finding DM's seems to be one of the trickier things judging by a quick look at the forum posts.  i hope that we can find someone that is willing.

Hi I look at your shows and I like it. I'm a fairly new  Critter, but ever since I started to watch Crit Role, I've been aching to get back into some old fashion table top RPG :) If the Euro group still have any slots open I'd very much would like to nab one. I have at least 20 different character ideas and I'm willing to play what ever really. It's always been about the character not the class for me :)

What Critter groups are still recruiting players? The Euro group has, unfortunately, seemingly fallen through. :(

Hi I'm Joseph, I've always been interested in playing DnD but never had others IRL who also wanted to play. Watching Critical Role finally gave me the push to begin seriously "dabbling" into game, and lead me hear obviously, and have bought the 5e books so I got most the rules down. I have 5 rough draft characters with some backstories to start. If anyone is looking into making a group for CST &gt;7pm and looking for an extra I'm down.

Well depending upon time I would really love to get into a group if there is a slot and have some great new characters i wanna try out.

If there are any games that need an extra player within the next couple days I have a Dragonborn Sorcerer ready to go, inspired by Tiberius. Just hit me up if you want me.

I've been putting off running a 5E campaign for a very long time, but I may be able to make time for a group sometime early in the week, Eastern US time. Though I'm really more interested in running a "newer player group" for people who want to learn how to actually roleplay, as rather than people who are just floating around looking for whoever will take them or have pre-constructed characters based on other characters they've seen. Newer players tend to be more excited overall. Anyway, let me know if there's any interest. Maybe the potential to get a slightly mixed group gender-wise, since that's also something I haven't really had.

Hey are there critters still looking to form another group? I'm from the West Coast (US), and I have a little experience DMing (I saw critical role, created my own campaign, and got some of my college friends to do a few sessions. Unfortunately we have graduated and split up making it harder to meet). I would love to form a group that wants to create a story driven campaign. I have little experience with roll 20 though, but we can all learn together!

Hey Wycce, definitely count me in! I'd love to play so long as it wasn't on mondays or thursdays. Aside from that pretty much any afternoon PST will work for me, I have a decent amount of experience with Roll20 so I can help a little bit with questions that you may have (Though I'm by no means an expert.) Ideally I'd like to play a Human Rogue if you decided to pick me up for your campaign, though I do have another concept for a Cleric that I'm tossing around in my head if for some reason a Rogue wont work. Failing that, I'd likely make a Fighter or Ranger. Hopefully we can have some awesome adventures together!

hello, i'm a long time DM, and i never get the chance to play. I'd love to partake if there's an empty seat at the table. i'm well-versed with 5e and though i do make "optimized" characters for combat (unlike vax, i do _not_ enjoy close shave), i do focus on role playing. combat to me is just to get to the next role play bits, if it serves to deepen the story as well then great. i'm also very flexible with choice of class as the stories i make are very mallable. i can do monday, wednesday and thrusday EST evening (i can fit in a PST group as well, if it's not too early)

I'm an UK-based player that can play on Saturdays or Sundays from around 6-7PM GMT till about 12-1AM and, like everyone here, was brought back into D&D by Critrole! I've got several character ideas milling around in my head and I'll pick based on the world setting, other party members etc.

If there is anyone looking for a player on saturdays I'd like to throw my hat in (I'm on West Coast)

I'm a new player who's followed CR from the start. I'm looking for a good group to join up with, get some firsthand experience, and just have a good time. While new, I understand the game and the web game tools well, so it shouldn't take long to pull my own weight. I'm pretty flexible on class depending on what the group needs, but I have a couple ideas if everyone's undecided. I find I enjoy support roles, so I'd probably go cleric if there's room, or sorcerer/ranger if we're good on support. My schedule is kinda messy, but is routine, so could commit to a weekly game if it fits. Preferable times would be Sunday afternoon/evening, Wednesday anytime, Monday/Friday done before 8 CST. However certain other times may work.

So I'm posting as a not official representative of Critter Group 4 ;p. Our group is formed....mostly. What I mean is that although we are currently full, we are having our session zero soon to clear up campaign stuff and times. If it happens that some people need to drop, and the group wants to refill, we will come back to look for more. No promises though that a space will open up. However, it looks like there are several people still looking for a group so maybe you all could start Critter Group 5. Otherwise, good luck in your adventures and may your rolls be high!

I'd be happy to be a player for a 5E game, or to run a roleplay-heavy game with a roll-light system of my own creation as a GM. I'm used to 1-on-1 GMing but I think it would be easy enough to expand to GMing for a group. :)

Been looking to get into Critical Role and start playing RPGs again, so this seems to suit me well! EU player (GMT+1) with some experience DMing and playing D&D 3.5 here, easily up for learning 5e.

Hey guys, critter Nikki here. :)&nbsp; I'm a new player in the Eastern Standard Time zone who's never played a full session of D&D before and I'm hoping for a group thats willing to guide new players. I don't really want any one-shots right now, I'm hoping for a character building group that intends on lasting a long while. I also Strongly do not want instant death, as I want to last long enough to roleplay as well as do combat. @_@ I want to roleplay when opportunity is there but I want to role when actions are taken mostly. I'm also up for just about any roles but I want to be allowed to be any race I want. I got really stressed out last time were the GM instantly killed my friend, and I was only lvl 1 and never played the game before. x-x It was not newbie friendly.... I pulled out of that game, it was just too much for my first time so thats as much experience as I have. :( But don't get me wrong, I am not one to jump ship just because some aren't going my way. I understand bad roles will happen and you just accept them as they are. I want to be in a game for a long time if possible. Things just didn't work out my first time.
