Player Token Editing

I was a bit disappointed to find that players in a campaign cannot adjust the values in the fields assigned to tokens they control. This is a major hurdle for any game that requires a player to spend a resource in order to take an action. Instead of them simply reducing the value themselves, they would need to instruct the GM to make the change for them every time. If a player could click on a unit they control and edit the main stat bubbles, it would speed up play and allow for a wider array of systems to utilize the service. In the "related items" field: an editable text field around the token would be marvelous. Currently, there is no way to add any text to a token, which makes identification difficult. A simple text field that resides below the token would allow us to place pertinent information in a readily available space. More than anything, the ability to mark specific enemies by number and identify the player tokens by name would streamline the gameplay and allow for a wider range of games to be played.
I believe that making the stats of a token player-editable is on the developer's list of improvements; at the very least, it's a commonly requested feature. As to the text, I very much agree. Many people want at least the ability to name tokens. A work around, for the time being, is the 'ping' feature, whereby anyone can hold down the left mouse button and a blue radar 'ping' will show up for everyone to see. Useful for pointing out specific locations or tokens.
Thanks again Zackary! Circle Xaxier your suggestions are noted and appreciated.
