not exactly .. we are using the VTT and there are interactive quests and such .. but the play and rolls are done asynchronously so people can take turns non face to face .. so i might call it PBP +   but there is still very involved combat and such .. it just uses a different format and character sheets on roll 20  ... stories are then posted as a result of what players experience .. I will send you the link and if you want to hop in and check out the forums you will quickly get an idea what is going on.  If you don't think you like it . .no hard feelings .. its not for everyone .. you might want to take special look at the missions we will do . that is the main combat format should you decide to join us.

New quests updated this week. More players joining up every day!   Still time to get in on the ground floor .. We make landfall Jan 4 but until then character creation, threads, crafting, quests, etc! New Mission on-board the Iron Kelpie starts next week.

As a player (and assistant GM) in this game, I have to say that Clemcon has come up with something very unique. It is moving forward at this point and is ready to kick-off next week on the 4th. However, there are plenty of little quests to take part in before then. You'll want to get in on this and take part because it looks to be a really fun game. If you don't make it by the 4th you can still join and you will be inserted appropriately. He really means it when he says that the pace of the game is up to the individual players. You can post and get involved many times a day or once every few days whatever works for you. Shoot Clemcon a PM if your interested.

Week 1 is underway.  30 of our players made landfall this week. Join this week and board the iron kelpie as it delivers the next wave of colonists to the new world. PM me if interested

Brave New World is up and running This is a persistent world with quests, missions and players at different levels playing together. Think of this like old school Neverwinter Nights but through text and combat simulations using the roll20 tabletop with posting in slots This is a unique system that takes some getting used to but is a great time We currently have about 30 good players and we are still looking to recruit more If you are a player who likes the role playing side as well as combat you should consider joining You can post as often as you like (there is plenty to keep you busy) or just once a week to make progress in the world Leveling is independent per player so players of all levels play together Exploration, Scouting, Crafting, Player Driven Economy, Adventure and Downtime Mechanics Please PM me if you are interested in joining.

I just want to let you guys know this is a ton of fun!  There is so much to do and create!  The only problem with the game is that I can't get enough of it!  

Finishing up Week 3 and still looking for more brave adventurer's to tame this new world.  We've seen our first deaths out on the frontier, but we press on.  There is still acres of wilderness to be explored and a small settlement ready to be a Thorp!  Contact either Clem or me if you are interested.
