I am making a campaign

I am making a campaign and I want it to be of high quality so I probably overloaded the in game map. Now it takes 40 secs just to load the campaign, and that is just the first map so I am not sure if it can take a second without crushing on me. Is there something I can do to reduce the loading times without reducing the quality?

What is the file type and DPI of the map?  - Gauss
I made the map on the program from several different elements of my library. I uploaded a map which was pretty simple and black and white after adjusting the hex grid I filled the rest of the map withy elements I made from my paint, windows program, then copied each element till I fill it, in the campaign  is a hex grind is 20 - 16... I used this program cause the hex allignment made it easier to place the elements correctly,  all elements are bmp files and each is a bmp file of its own. the dpI varries from file to file the alignment tool said something  71-65 pixels but since I made those things and I am not an art professional I dont know how to calculate them. I guess if I remake the whole thing on paint and import it as a bpm it will solve the problem... but since I cannot copy paste the map from the campaign to the paint... I will have to redo it from start I guess.
I would LOVE the ability to export Roll20 made maps into another format for this very reason! Is there any way this could be done? Just a button to 'save current image as...' a jpg or bmp or png or whatever. I've seen quite a few people having issues due to the filesize of the map, having to reload it all every time the view changes. It would solve this problem in an instant, and probably reduce the load on Roll20's servers quite substantially!
I dont think this can be done, they try to entice us with art they made to become subscribers if they allow that someone will just copy paste everything and upload them on the internet and well then there would be problems. So they are willing to take the extra cost in return I guess. well its no problem for me to remake the map , exept that I lost 12 hours doing it already :(, had to delete it anyway cause I pressed copy accidently and doubled it and now the whole campaign wouldnt open. ( so I was right the program wouldnt be able to handle another map like that).
Well, even exporting it to a single-image png that can be used on Roll20 only would be awesome, but I don't know how difficult that might prove to be. Just a thought. And if you want to steal an image, just turn off the grid, enlarge the image, and use printscreen.  Works great for a single image; doesn't work if you've got a map with any kind of detail to it.

Was most if not all the map components free stuff? A lot of the fee components can be found through google unless you are using items that are specifically made for roll20. If and I mean IF this is the case, look over the name and tags of the component then take a google search. You might find what you want that way.

John K., I didn't catch what the file format or DPI was. You can find this on your computer by right clicking the image and clicking properties. Also, the file size would be useful information.  The best file type for maps is JPG and the DPI should not be above 75-100 DPI since DPI is not really used in web images anyhow.  - Gauss
from what I see the DPI was 32 for the initial map and 24 for each componet. but I guess that is not exactly accurate cause when I entered them in roll 20 the initial map was increased in size (so the dots / inch droped) and the componets were mininized to fit a square so (the DPI increased for them). Had to delete the whole map anyway now. thanks for your help, I guess I ll try saving it as a JPG instead when I remake it on paint, it will take less time to remake anyway since the componets are ready this time, and I doubt it will be over 70 - 100 DPI if Imported that way.

Well, before you put it into Roll20 just right click on the image, click properties and then check the file type, file size, and DPI. Then if you have a problem let us know what those stats are. - Gauss
