[Help] Calculated Values are Gone? PTU Character Sheets.

December 17 (9 years ago)

Edited December 17 (9 years ago)
All of the Calculated Values are missing. The Combat Stages don't do anything anymore, The Max HP doesn't have a Value and all of the grayed out values that we couldn't mess with are blank and white, meaning we can change the values only manually.
I started a new Campaign to check if it was something on my specific Campaign and it looks like it is the sheets messing up.
Any Suggestions on how to fix this?
Using Chrome, Windows 8. Just for info.

It's not just you - rather unpleasant surprise for our playgroup today. At least we can get the move rolls to work okay, but anything involving combat stages is such a pain. :(

Hopefully someone knows how to fix it.
Same thing's happening for me. Not sure that I can really add anything, except to say that it's apparently a spreading problem.
It just happened today for me. I was updating a sheet yesterday and everything was fine.
Then I signed on today and everything was messed up. Glad to know it's not only on my side, but this is still a pretty significant problem.
It's weird that the AC and Evasion Bonuses still have the Grey, calculated boxes, but everything else is gone.
Hope it's fixed soon.

Sorry about this guys. I've been maintaining the character sheet, and updated it to make use of some of the features added with the new update. Unfortunately, I somehow managed to miss a few errors, which–as you've found–should have been really obvious. These included a few now-needed name changes and (sigh) a random comma.

I've submitted a bugfix, which should hopefully only take a few days to reach the main site. Sorry for the derp.
Good to hear. That's pretty much exactly what I thought had happened once I found out that multiple people were experiencing it. Thanks for the response.
Ah, good that it's on its way to getting fixed. BTW, Corin, thanks for maintaining this stuff for us. you make my tuesday nights a whole lot easier : )
Same, These sheets are an Arceus-send.
Our group also loves these sheets i do have a question is their a way to make use of token bars as is for macros ?
I do not know either.

I'm not entirely sure as to what you mean. If you're wondering about the names for values from the sheet, there's a list of the names in the Attributes and Abilities tab. I think most of the names are pretty self-explanatory.

Oh, I noticed there is now a damage base section in moves, now. Does that mean damage will be auto calculated, too?
well when select a token you can have a bar appear in the top left corner, their a box you can check for it in attributes and ability if you bring out a macro bar their now my question is , is their a way to get the macros in the charter sheet to appear on the Token bars of the tokens.  with so many sheets it just opening a ton of sheets during game

Alice: Once the bugfix goes up, yes!
LP: I'm not sure if you can drag the buttons onto the token abilities, though if you had the know-how, you could technically just copy-paste them from the sheet's source code.

If you hit up on the keyboard in the chat after you roll the move or show the ability you can copy past the code into the token ability, name it what you want and you got a copy of what ever it was on your token if that helps.

Ah yes, should have mentioned: With the new version, it only calculates values when you change a value. So you may need to, say, raise then lower a stat for everything to auto-calc. Once a value's in there, it'll stay in there, so it should be a one-time thing.
It looks like everything is calculating correctly. The only difference from before is the calculated values aren't in the gray uneditable boxes. But that's minor. Thanks for working on this so quickly, and updating/maintaining the sheets.

Mmhm. The uneditable boxes were a result from the old way of calculating things. Thanks to Javascript implementation, they're now in editable boxes, which helps if, say, you wanted to give a move a non-existent damage base.
Ok, just wanted to know if that was intentional or not. Thanks again.
